論文簡介:

  CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Test to tell Computers and Humans Apart),是一種區分使用者為人類或機器人的全自動公共程式,主要用於阻擋自動化程序(Bots)對網路服務之攻擊。目前網路廣為使用的CAPTCHA 多基於文字, 其缺點為隨著光學文字辨識(OCR ,Optical Character Recognition)的進步,安全性較為下降許多。因此近年來 CAPTCHA 相關技術之研發,已朝向採用基於影像驗證或語音驗證等非純文 字形式方向。隨著行動裝置的普及,人們能夠更加在任何地方訪問網站。然 而行動裝置其螢幕尺寸的大小較為有限以及沒有實體鍵盤不易於輸入文字之 特性。因此本論文將對觸控式螢幕的特性做研究,開發出適合使用於行動裝 置之影像驗證碼。 CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) is a type of public software to automatically determine whether the web users are humans or robots. It is mainly used for blocking the automated programs(Bots) attacks to the services on the Internet. Currently, most of CAPTCHAs are text-based. The drawback is that with the progress and enhancement of Optical Character Recognition (OCR, Optical Character Recognition) technique, the safety of these kinds of CAPTCHAs drops gradually. More recently, many CAPTCHA related researches have been shifted toward the non-textual paradigm such as paradigms that based on image or voice or mixed approaches. With the popularity of mobile devices, many people are able to link to various web sites at any place. However, the mobile devices have the problem of difficulty in entering textual data due to the relatively smaller screen size. Therefore, this paper explored various ways to exploit image and touch-screen technique and developed an image-based CAPTCHA for using on the mobile device easily. A preliminary users test showed encouraging responses and positive results.
